About Dr Rev Patryas
Laura's background is richly varied, spanning roles from research scientist to spiritual teacher. She is also a musician, author, and artist. Laura has facilitated numerous women's circles, mantra and sound healing sessions, IFS workshops, ecstatic dances, and interfaith services. Her expertise has led her to present at international conferences on Psychophysics and IFS, as well as give interviews on topics like awakening, Advaita Vedanta, Eastern Tantra, embodiment through dance, and A Course In Miracles (ACIM). She is the co-founder of the Nondual IFS community and creator of the 8Fs of Nondual IFS. Her teachings emphasize the transformative power of Being, drawing from a rich tapestry of spiritual traditions including Advaita Vedanta, Tantra, Sufism, Christian mysticism, Celtic and Shamanic spirituality, Taoism, Zen, and Western nonduality texts such as ACIM. Her unique approach, rooted in diverse spiritual traditions, offers a refreshing perspective on the path to awakening and living from the essence of love.
A visionary polymath, Laura finds deep inspiration in figures like St. Hildegard von Bingen, Julian of Norwich, and Meister Eckhart. She has written and illustrated a children’s book on IFS and recently completed another book, "Awaken to Love: Reclaiming Wholeness through Embodied Nonduality with Jungian Wisdom, Psychosynthesis & Internal Family Systems." This book, a culmination of over two decades of research, is an invaluable resource for those seeking a nondual approach to psychotherapy. It integrates various psychotherapeutic modalities, including Polyvagal Theory, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, IFS, Somatic Experiencing, and Jungian Psychoanalysis, with nondual teachings from Vedantic and Tantric traditions.
